[color=red][/color] I received a call from James Allen who says he has recevied my file from CASH USA. He is claiming to be from the Department of Mediation for Harris County. When I looked up the number on the BBB website, a bails bond company appeared. Anyway, this man sounded nervous and told me he has the authority to dispatch an officer to my job. I told him I wanted copies of all the correspondence that he says was sent to me, but he said he did not have time to play mail tag or to fax me anything.

I was checking all three of my credit reports. There are two accounts on there that are reporting late, but I have paid these under the balances. Can I write a letter to the companies asking them to remove this negative information?

I'm in the process of writing a letter to offer payments of a payday loan I have. The company is AIM. They originally told me they only accept Moneygram or Western Union payments, but I found an address on them and will be sending it there. It is a P.O. box though. I owe $390 and am offering payment of $100 every other week until paid. I'm only paying the $390. My question: Will they possibly sue me for the extra fees and if so where will they sue me? They are located in Kansas City. Would I have to go to KC? Has any one else dealt with this company? How are they to work with?

I was so glad to find this site! I have been subject to the same type of childish tactics as others for the past year. It began when I went thru a divorce in which my husband left me less than nothing, as I was stuck with all of our credit card debt! He was savvy enough to never have me put him on my cards, and it was those cards that kept our children clothed, etc. for the last year of our so-called marriage. Citibank was the only creditor that refused to work with me when I had almost no income and was paying the divorce attorney her hefty fees.
