help for 2000$ debt

I received a call from a collection agency called PDLR today and work. The rep. stated that my wages were subject to be garnished if I did not pay for an old pay day loan. When asked about information for which I owe money to the p.day loan co. they were unable to provide any they do not have a website and I wonder if they are a legitimate business. Can my wages be garnished for a company that I know nothing about?

I am in CO and have ignored the numerous Summons. As a result, I have a judgement against me and they have frozen my account which made it worse. Now they have garnished my wages which is 25% of my gross less the required taxes. I owe over $15k and am paid less than $31k/year. How long can they garnish my wages and is there anything I can do beside file for bankruptcy? Thank you.

hi All, All my loans are about to be due and I don't know where to start. I was going to hire a company called payday support center $248 and 336 per month if legal lender to be sent money gram and Im just not comfortable paying anyone else...nor do I have the money. Does anyone happen to know what the timeline is for filing a Chapter 7 bankruptcy in California? I've read that the entire procedure takes from 90-120 days from the time you file until the debts are all dismissed one you pass the means test and complete some other requirements. Can anyone shed some light on the entire process? Thanks!

I am reposting this from a thread about Restone Cash Payday Loans. I posted as 'answer this' instead of ask and expert. In reference to a post about Redstone saying they would show loan paid in full after a phone call: Did it work for you? Did they revise your account to show no balance. I also have a loan with them and just calculated that I have overpaid the principal by $860!!! I am trying to clear up the loans I have and am using a letter to email that I found on this website, but they only have a PO Box and phone number. So far I have received two replies to emails I have sent.

hello, i had a question if i had an account that was sold to lvnv funding how can i dispute them off my credit report? I would really appreciate the help because i was willing to pay the original amount which was originally around 300 well it was like 289 now the amount has tripled and cant afford to pay it.
