My husband has more then 10 credit cards...they are all in good standing with none late. We always pay on time. Although that is kind of becoming a little more of a hassle right now. I don't want to do anything that will reflect his credit scores and or his credit report. i don't want negative remarks.....one reason we have been holdig it out all this time to pay one at a time. That is not going to work though so I want some help in this.....what should I do?

What is considered the normal length of time to be contacted by a debt counselor. What are the options if I am never contacted?

hello, i'm new to this forum. i was a victim of theft and my bank card was stolen and used. the bank did not cancel the card when i reported it stolen, and we have lost all of our money and are now is serious financial trouble. our credit is ruined, and we have been trying to fight with the bank to get our money back and they have refused. (we contacted the BBB, the CT department of banking, the FTC, and will be looking into a lawyer soon). what in the world can we do? and how can we climb out of the hole of debt we fell into because of this?

I feel happy to share that all my credit card debts are gone away. Now I don't have any new debt. Two years back it was $18000.00 and today it is $0.00 I was a dedicated man during these two years in completing my payments. Now that the journey is over, I am feeling very relaxed. Thanks to this site who have shown their support throughout the ordeal. I have appreciated everything in this forum. I have taken the pics of my last two checks sent to CITIBANK. Its time for me to celebrate with a carton full of beer.
