I have had trouble over and over. I get it fixed and then a situation appears and I use cards and accept offers that no one should be sending me to begin with. I have been through debt consolidation 13 or 14 years ago. Then 3 years ago I enrolled in a program that was a lawyer's office in Ca that did the contacting for us.

I believe Medallion Financial Services in Canada is the same as all the other scams discussed here and is their newest name. I received a call from Audrey Moore at 1-800-771-1262. Told me I was approved for a $5000 loan but would need to send $650 by Western Union and the money would be wired into my account. I did not send the money but unfortunately she does have some of my personal information. On the paperwork she sent me was the name JP Patterson and Medallion Financial Services. I believe this is the same scam everyone here is talking about.

Has anyone heard of A.S. and Associates? I received a call today a man from this company asking if I knew about with PAAdvance. I had a payday loan with PAA that defaulted because my checking account was closed due to NSFs. I made payment arrangements with the payday loan company, made one payment, was not able to make the second, but in the last few days have made new arrangement which were accepted by the payday company. Now this man from A. S.

Asset Acceptance is a member of the Better Business Brueau, and I for one and glad I had the chance to work for them. I learned a lot in the year that I was with them. Not only were the people that I worked with helpful to the people who had encountered debt, but they did everything they could to get the best deal. They are a legit company, and they do have the power to sue people. I had to sue 12 people a month, every month.

I just got a call from someone claiming to be a lawyer who wanted to check with me before he sent the paperwork up the Courthouse for garnishment of wages. I asked who he worked for and he said Global Financial. I asked what this was in reference to and he said a loan I had with CashNet in the amount of $495!. I have been the victim of identity theft and told him that I had closed my accounts because of these types of calls, and I dont owe anything to these people.

Hi, I recently took out a pay day loan. It was for $300 and $90 fee. I have been trying to pay the loan in full but can not find the contact information for this company. I have tried everything. I contacted my bank and they told me they couldn't find any contact information on the company. I had a virus in my email account and it deleted many of my emails and the loan documents were in there. Is there any advice you can give me on contacting this company to ensure they are paid in full. Below is a snap shot of what documentation I have received from my bank.

My husband and I are in forclosure and close to loosing our one car. I filed chpt. 7 in 2000, he did not. He has one secured loan and 3 pay day loans. In order for us to file chpt. 13 he has to get a new job which he should have next week or so. My question is should he file chpt. 7 and I file chpt 13 separatly to get rid of more of the debt or should we just file 13 jointly?
