I have an old credit card that that I have been paying on since 2002. I payed off all my credit cards in December, except this one (they wouldn't let me do a settlement). I have been unable to pay the minimum balance the last several months and now they are taking me to court!! My original balance was 658.00 in 2002 (last time I used card) and it has now compliled to over 1900. on the warrant, it says they want 25% interest until payed. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Can they garnish my wages?

I have a credit card that is in collections and the company has offered me a settlement amount. I don't have the money to pay it out-right, so how do I get a loan for that amount even if I have bad credit?

I took out a payday loan in the amount of $300. The finance charge was $90. I paid the loan down to $200. I closed out my checking account so that they would stop taking money out every pay period. I called the company to inform them of this and to try to make some type of payment arrangement. Today I get a call from them stating that I now owe them $425 because I defaulted on this loan. I told them that I would only pay them the $290 which I owe them. $200 is the principal and $90 is the finance charge. The guy started yelling at me about me reading my contract.

I recieved all call from them saying i was approved for a loan,but they wanted me to put down $2500 dollars for a so called insurance coverage.It doesn't sound safe so can you help me out and find out about this company.the # is 1800664**** ext.* Regina Buckman.Thank you for your help

I am being harrassed at work by a company that uses the same tactics as Ellis and in jacksonville, FL too- (may be the same people???). They call themselves prelitigations of america (sometimes won't give a name at all!!! Just "investigator Free", won't validate debt. their # is 904-356-0886 or 0927. I can't find an address to file a complaint. anyone heard of these people? If so, would apprciate any ifo. they've even called my boss!!!!

earlier this year i got a $100 payday loan. I know i only got $100 because i didnt have direct deposit. I got the repayment date re-set 2 times.. each time only having to pay $30... then the full amount..plus the fee - also 30$. So the total should be $190 right? Wrong, i get a call from a debt collector stating i owe $410 for this crap - but i KNOW i paid it, because i made sure to pay it before i changed my bank account to a different bank due to a separate issue. However, in thinking this was all paid, i threw away all my paperwork, so now i have to refernce to fax to these people.

i went to the hospital out 3 months ago i didnt have any insurance and can't afford it but i went to the hospital because i had a stomach virus and lost alot of fluids from throwing up and stuff so i went to the hospital and they only put an iv in my hand for me to regain my fluids and the hospital is now coming back with bills totaling 1000 dollars which i dont have to pay them and now they are threatning to report it too a credit agency i mean come on i am in debt as it is i cant take this anymore i need help fast
