Hi im in need of serious help. im 20 years old no car, about $2000 in debt on two different things ones a credit card and the other a cell phone bill. i called the credit card company and they told me they wanted the whole 1041.11 in full and that they are still tacking on intrests and finance charges on the closed account. i really need a car bad what is a person to do?

I was going to send off a couple of debt validation letters. However, it is past the 30 day notice on the letter received from respective agency. Can i go ahead and send them or is it too late? Thanks

Hi - I have a collection agency after me for a check that was fraudulently written. Right now I am in the process of collecting everyhting, getting hard copies, etc in the event I need an attorney for identity theft. I wrote the agency a letter explaining all of this and I asked them to please stop calling me and only send correspondence by mail in the event I need copies for an attorney. They still have not sent me anything by mail and have called me twice since I sent this letter. In their phone messages they are asking me for my attorney case number.
