Debt RR

If there's one thing that debt creates besides an ever-growing hole in your pocket, it's A LOT of stress. I noticed that my debt was causing me to be increasingly irritable, moody, emotional and depressed. I also developed back pain. This over long-term can be extremely detrimental to your health, so I had to seek ways to get out of debt, but in a less stressful way. Here are some tips that worked: 1) Don't WORRY! Try to focus on things that make you happy, like a hobby, your kids, even your job. Take up a new hobby in order to get your mind off things. 2) Treat yourself to a massage.

This AM a MS. Long called and informed me I was about to be sued for bank and internet fraud. When I told her I didn't know what she was talking about she said she knew I was a disabled veteran and wanted to help keep me out of court. Then an "investigator" Wakefield came on the line and asked for my attorney. When I said I would represent myself in any litigation, he said "you can't represent yourself, IDIOT." Is there anything I can do to stop this crap?

Realistic Goals to rebuild credit

19 years 11 months ago
Hi, My husband and I just had court on Friday to file for bankruptcy. We were declared with no assets and are now just waiting for it to be officially dismissed. We are currently renting a nice apartment, but were hoping to own a condo next Summer. I see now that it is probably not realistic? I have looked into ways of trying to rebuild credit, and one of the things is to get a secured credit card. How do you get a credit card after a bankruptcy? The only ones we get "pre-approved" for are the ones that cost $200 just to get the card, and we are definitely not going that route.

The Origins of Loans

19 years 11 months ago
I've had 7 payday loans and seeing where each has gone (not paid off ---> harassing phone calls --->calls from "collections companies"---> never hearing from them again), I was wondering: 1) Where does the money that these companies loan you, come from? (My guess is from ripping people off) 2) Why does it seem that you can't get into legitimate legal trouble if you don't pay most or all of the loans? I don't condone not paying the loans back, for honesty reasons. In my mind, I took money from someone and I need to pay it back...it's a matter of when, however.

I am getting harassment calls, what to do?

19 years 11 months ago
Fourth request. Please remove cell phone # 518.669.2830 from your automatic dialing system for "ABC". I have received over 25 calls and am NOT interested. Failure to act will cause me to contact NY Attorney General Spitzer.

Please give advice on Primetime Lending company

19 years 11 months ago
I found a website called Primetime1.net.which offers various loans.I applied for a loan of $5000.They called me and said I was approved and they would fax the loan papers to me.They also said I would need to pay the first 5 payments as collateral before I receive the loan. And since my credit score was low I would also have to pay $252 for insurance. They faxed the loan papers and it will be $119 per month for 4 years starting in 6 months since I would be making the down payment. The interest rate is 7 percent.I have not sent the money yet ..They want it sent by Western Union. Have you ever heard
