I have two credit cards that had been charged off due to delinquencies and I was curious if anyone had any strategies for negotiating to have these accounts restored? While I had previously neglected these accounts, I'm now in a position to address them and would very much like to have the accounts active again. Any suggestions are helpful, personal experiences of a similar manner are greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

Question everyone. I have been getting calls at work from a collector at Corporate Receivables, Inc in Phoenix AZ. Apparently one of my creditors sold this (bad) account to them. Well, this collector continues to call my place of employments after I have told him I am not allowed to receive calls at work. Since the first time he called me at work and I told him this, he has called 3 more times, once leaving a message with the owner of Corporate Receivables to have me call him back.

I keep getting calls that show up simply as "Georgia Call". The person never identifies himself or who he is calling for, just that it's an "urgent personal business matter". The number on caller ID is 678-228-3415 and the return call number is 866-664-2513 . I searched online and found nothing for either number. Just curious .. might be more inclined to call back if I knew who it was!

I'll try to make this a short story. For the last two years, we have been struggling to make ends meet, thanks to my husband's job. We racked up $5000 in credit card debt to help pay the bills. Last year, he took a better job, and we began to climb back out of the hole. We were several payments late with Capital One. I called to make arrangements and spoke with the biggest jerk ever. He convinced me that if I didn't come up with $1000 before hanging up, he'd call the attorney and tell them to take it straight to court. I foolishly believed him and gave him my mortgage.

Please stop calling my phone number. I have creditors, but none of them would have the number you keep calling. Perhaps you are looking for somebody else. I have called you back repeatedly asking you to stop calling because it is my cell phone and you are using my minutes. The number you need to remove from your call list is 817-657-7561. If I receive another call I will not be as friendly next time. Thank you.
