Hi,And thank you for taking the time to read and hopefully answer this question. I have made a deal with a collection agency to make payments of $50.00 a month. As of June of 2005 i will have 2 payments left. Yes been a long 2 years of paying it. What if any is the best way to approuch the collection company to ask them if they would consider deleting it after i make my last payment. I do know from reading other post they dont have to. But I am preparing to buy a house and have had preety bad credit for awhile and need to have anything done to up my score. It is far below 600

Does debt consolidation include repossessed car debts, loan companies, and/or department store credit cards?

I had a loan through MBNA for a computer. It went into collections, and went through quite a few collection companys. I have now paid the debt, and all the other collector's, including the one I paid are still showing up on my credit report wanting money and making my credit report look bad.

I WANTED TO PAY MY HOUSE OFF AND SOME OTHER BILLS AND HAVE ONLY ONE BILL PER MONTH. I WAS TOLD I COULDN'T BECAUSE MY HOUSE IS SUBSIDIZED.WHAT WOULD BE MY NEXT BEST THING TO DO? I NEED 11000 TO PAY OFF OTHER BILLS AND 42,OOO TO PAY OFF BILLS WITH THE HOUSE INCLUDED.

I settled an account I have in collection. The agency offerd a 50% settlement which I paid. They came back today and said the creditor did not authorize the settlement and I need to pay the remaining- they admit it was their error. What can I do?
