FFG sent me a letter validating my account. I am out of work due to health reasons and my husband makes 100.00 a month too much to receive disability. I have no assets or income. any thoughts?

In Ohio, payday loans are legal, with limitations. But if you deal with Tribal loans, are you bound to Ohio or Tribal law? can these people call your place of employment an tell your employer that they are going to come to your job an serve you with legal papers or threaten to send a letter to your employer

I took out a loan through WS in February. It was for $1000 (and they took an extra $500). Ive paid them $450 so far. I haven't paid for the past 2 months. I'm considering bankruptcy, and told them that. After a few attempts to call my cell phone this month (payment was due July 1), they tried to call me on my uncle's house phone (i haven't lived there in years. I also didn't list him as a reference or provide that phone # to them . WTF? Bastards. Can I send them a cease and desist? Can I show up at their offices with a crowbar?

Can anyone provide me with sample letters to send to the AG and FTC to complain about illegal payday lenders? Do you have contact info for them in IA?

Someone help me. I attended a culinary arts school in Las Vegas and recieved a student loan from sallie mae...I paid sallie mae $9000 in 2007 and "Paid of my loan" but now this company is calling me saying that I had a "Different" sallie mae loan and that now i owe over $11,000 but to settle for $4500 or pay a grand up front and a hundred dollars a month. Im a soldier in the us army now and i dont make JACK! I cant afford this and they are saying that no matter what they are going to come and get their money! They threatened to come after my wifes money and mine and our assets! This is BS!

I just found out that my wages are begin garnished by some company name LVNV Funding. My payroll Department said they got a letter from the County Court to garnished my wages 25% each month for over $3,000. Can they do that? How do I know if this is a valid debit I owe? I never receive a letter or anything from this company.

i just received a summon from MRC receivables corp. and i dont know what are they collecting for... i was thinking of my citibank credit card 5years ago but i filed a bankruptcy long time ago and it is included in my filing, i dont know what to do because im jobless, high risk pregnant and about to deliver the baby next month, my blood sugar is always up and down because of too much stress because of the summon i received... please help me i need to know what to do, and when will i go to court or shall i just ignore this... i need your help please reply asap! thanks in advance!

Are payday loans legal in the state of Texas?

I currently have several payday loans. my husband was laid off for over 11 months and i was goign to school well he had a house to apy for and we got behind. I qui school went back to work i was making good money so i asked for a modifiaction and they did it but 2500.00 monthly mid u i live in Iowa. and had 3 teenage kids. My goal was to save my house so i was able to do for a while but then after a few months it became hell. then i was getting pd loans and thats when it all started. now i owe pd loans and friends.. i want out not sure how.
