I believe I have a collection on a loan I took out with Plain Green loans on my credit report. If an illegal payday company sells your account to a collection agency are you still liable for the principle amount only?

Hi...I need advice about this company. I had a loan online with Check into Cash. It was late, this company called threatening me. I finally gave them my information for two payments to pay back the loan. I now find out Check into Cash never got the money. Can I do a charge back? Thanks Pam

I was told I owed money for a debt collector fee by a community. They sent me to collections in January no one ever contacted me about any balance.(and I had paid the dues in full) I only found out because I called and asked what the association fess were this year. They said "I was late it was due last week and they have no oblgation to send a bill, it's up to the Property owner to know how much to pay and what the due date is. I was two weeks late on 750.00 they charged me 84.00 in late fees and interest.

I received a letter from Asset Acceptance stating if I pay 70.00 on a 1329.10 bill (that I possibly owe and believe it to be aon my credit report from another agency) they will consider it paid in full? I find this hard to believe. I called and they said I could pay via credit card over the phone, I did refuse stating I will send them money order. I have yet to do so until I validate this. Can someone please advise to this

Hi, I got a call from an unknown number not only did they call me they called my parents phone as well how they got there number I haven't a clue, a Monica Jenkins called saying I have 48 he's to respond and that a restraining order is being placed on me gave me a reference number and wanted myself or my attorney to call this number 1-813-217-5283, the lady was very rude on her voicemail also said I was going to be served and told me good luck! Now I had defaulted on a couple internet payday loans due to job loss anyone know if this number is a legit company please help Thanks!!
