i have recieved a writ of garnishment for medical bills over 10 years old that belong to my ex husband. is there a statue of limitations as far as how long they can harrass a person?

Has anyone dealt with Cash Jar? I have an outstandind loan with them and got a call from a company called CTS to collect on the dept. Like other I got the called that the wanted to serve me some papers. Just before they called my cell they had called my father & told him that they had a warrent for me. While knowing my father he told them where they can put their so call warrent. LOL. I called them back on the number they left and paid $600 and will pay another $600 in two weeks to cover the interest and fees. I am glad that I found this site.

[COLOR=black]I have 2 corporate cards and a business line of credit with American Express. I continued paying on these accounts for almost 3 years after the business closed. I stopped making payments when I lost my job and one account was turned over to NCO Financial Systems, Inc. and the other credit card and business line of credit were turned over to Zwicker & Associates. I am now employed and would like to get current over time with the past due amounts and then continue paying off the accounts until the accounts are paid in full.

I am currently seeking a position with FEMA. They did a mandatory credit check to make sure everything checks out. I got a response saying I owe almost 4000 in debt to Midland Funding LLC dated back in 2008. I have never once heard anything from this company???? What should I do? I live in michigan.

I have a loan with Loanshop Online and a loan with Zip19.com are these actually legal in the State of North Carolina? Thanks in Advance for Advice

They keep leaving messages at my home simply because they are too lazy to do a reverse lookup of my phone number (which is a listed number) to see that the number DOES NOT belong to the person from whom they are trying to collect from. All collection agencies are SCUM, but this one tries to ILLEGALLY collect debts that were actually paid off, collect debts that were LEGALLY charged off in bankruptcies. Why has no one gotten a CLASS ACTION law firm and SUED THE CRAP OUT OF PALISADES COLLECTIONS FOR THEIR ILLEGAL ACTIVITY.

Hi, I had payday loan last year with Easy Cash Online Store and it got really out of hand. My original loan was for $900 and I ended up paying over $2,000 more than what my loan cost according with my calculations. I closed my account after a came across your forum and researched some information. I sent them the letter posted on the forum and had a few calls from them and I haven't heard from them until now. Now Global Pre-litigation is calling me claiming that Easy Cash Online Store is pursuing a claim against me for breach and fraud and they want to serve me.

I have two old debts with Capital One showing up on my credit report. I was young and dumb, had two credit cards, and eventually lost my job. Card 1 has a past due amount/listed balance of $530. It was opened 7/2002 and closed (by them) 1/2007. The last payment was 8/2007. The pay status is ‘charge off’. The TU report states that this is due to fall off my CR on 4/2013. Card 2 lists no past due amount/listed balance.

Does anyone have a correct physical address for this company. I looked on the link with payday loan company contact information. When I put the name and location of this company in the BBB website it came up with a name of Action Credit payday Loans in Kansas. Is this the same company?
