I currently have a PDL from loan shop online. I live in Iowa and borrowed 500 and have paid over 1200! They have no website, but I emailed them and ask for one to check my account and they responsed with they do not have one. Not sure how I got the loan, just remember it was a phone call I received. Debt Collectors Not Willing To Send Payment Agreement On School Debt Help!!

13 years 7 months ago
What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York Hello all. I recently have been trying to return to school and I owe my previous school $6962 and change. Without paying them I am not able to get my transcripts and return to school. I have successfully talked them down to $3,400. After reading several forums and articles advising that I should ask them for a letter from the debt collectors stating the agreement that we have made and amount that we have settled on.

how do we do ACH Revokes when there's no email addy?

13 years 7 months ago
I'm doing my ACH Revokation emails and I can't find an email for Magnum Cash Advance! They also say on their site "Teletrack - We employ TELETRACK retrieval and reporting. A default on your loan will be reported and your ability to obtain future loans will be compromised." They only mean payday loans right? They can't report on my credit report can they? UGH!

Question regarding Medical Collections KY

13 years 7 months ago
I have 3 accounts being handled by the same collection agency in Louisville, KY. I originally set up a repayment plan in which I agreed to making payments higher than what I can afford because I was told the agency is a pay in full agency and doesn't make payment arrangements. I've made one payment and will continue making monthly payments, but I can't afford what I originally agreed to. Can this agency take me to court if I am sending payments faithfully for less than what was originally agreed to? Any advice?

Now I'm scared

After searching I found this on another post: they usually extend loans as a credit service organization, which means they wouldn't be required to follow the payday loan laws I have been on hear asking and asking about CSO because I was told that PayDayOne is one. I know they are a subsidiary company of Think Finance. So they do not have to follow payday loan laws. I just sent them an ACH revocation letter because I have overpaid them by more than $1000. So now what do I do? HELP!

Questions About WF Loan Going into Default

13 years 7 months ago
Hello, I would like to ask a few questions about a large Wells Fargo student loan my girlfriend has that's going into default. Specifically, I'm unclear on what all of the consequences are of defaulting. I know that they will most commonly go after your wages, assets, etc. It doesn't look like they can imprison you, and suing seems pretty pointless in this situation since there are no assets to seize. The loan is for about $65,000 and one of her parents is the co-signer. She rents and drives an old damaged car.
