Why do i have a outstanding bill of $953.32 with at-t???

Ok, so I just want to ease my mind, I got a call this morning (after not having several in about a month) that I'm getting served by some company (ACS) I think, and repeated my address so they could come serve me. When I hung up, they called my workplace, so I pretended to not work here. They asked to speak to another manager, I said I was the only one here, informed them that I knew of their fraud and hung up. After calling back several times, and having me hang up, I finally answered, he told me he would see me soon. He also called and harrassed my mother.

I'm wondering if debt settlement might be a viable option for my daughter. Her situation: She owes 20,000 in medical bills (many have gone on to collection agencies) 5,000 in personal loans We've considered bankruptcy, but she is soon to receive a settlement from an auto insurance company which includes compensation for unpaid medical bills. She would rather someone other than her family members handle negotiations with creditors. Who should I contact? Also, she has an outstanding student loan for $17,000 Any suggestions on what to do about that?

I received a phone message from Payday Loan Recovery Group stating that if they don't hear from by 3 pm tomorrow, they are going to process a wage garnishment. I don't know who these people are. Can they garnish my wages?

I have about 60,000 dollars in debt from student loans and I keep having to put them into forbearence because I can't afford the monthly payments. The interest gets capitalized and the original loans were around 40,000. So, I keep paying in and the loans keep going up. Would it be worth it to consolidate the loans and get a lower monthly payment?
