why are people calling me from india and not the USA can some call me from here and why do they have my information when were are always trying to protect our ID

Hello can you please help me with advice on how to settle with Discover Card? I am 6month due, my account is delinquent. I haven't' made payments for 6month, due to unemployment. I have stooped taking their phone calls. they send me a letter stating that they will take me to court, and they gave me the date until June 30, 2012 to pay off. if they don't hear from me, then attorney will have the case, etc I spoke to someone today from Discover and explained them my situation, they offered me a program , like they do to most people. They said that I am not eligible for settlement, etc.

How should I respond [FONT= ][/FONT] I just received this message from Idealgelt. I have already paid them $300. I owe then $200 and they want me to pay $650. How should I respond. [FONT= ][/FONT] "We are not governed under the law's of MD. You agreed to the terms and conditions of the loan before you signed the contract. We are not going to argue. This will effect all three credit bureau's as well without arrangments to pay the loan back. We can settle for $650.00 in payments.
