I cancelled an insurance policy at renewal last October by mail - never heard from ins co after that, no bills, no calls, no calls from agent. The annual premium was $321.
Now I have received a Collection Notice from RMS for $92. with the name of that ins co. And it says we have been advised previously that this was placing it with a collection co.
What do I need to send - a validation letter? a dispute letter?
Do I write to the ins co separately to dispute any amount owing?
Not sure what to do.....
