HELP, I have a big issue with national check recovery . i live in texas and about two months ago my wife recieved a phone call from national check recovery stating the she owe money on a payday loan. my wife never took a payday loan especially online. they told her that she did and they told her the name it was under and who ever used her info used her middle name to take a loan and also opened up a chase bank acct with the info and also used her middle name to open the acct.

Does anypne have a sample or template of a Cease & Desist Letter to a Payday loan company?

Same happened to me a few weeks ago. Same scenario, received a call from some type of lawfirm so they say, and I was told that the sheriffs will come to my work and arrest me. And the second call was the sheriffs will come arrest me at my home. I was like, who the hell are you and can I have your company name and so forth. Boy, they were so aggressive and I told them that I will file a complaint against them for harrassment. They are the rudest people I ever heard and I still have their phone number. There should be a law against these grease monkeys for trying to scare people like that.

How can I fight this judgement that may not be mine? It has been sent to several different companies and so far nobody has sent me validation of this charge. One person told me they didn't have to. Please help

After reading some posts I realized I am also being harassed by the same people for a a payday loan. The people call themselves Barnes and Associates and were really nasty. They left a phone message on a friends phone saying if I did not call them they would have be arrested and file a criminal case. I called the number and the person was quite nasty. Saying I owed a payday loan, which I know nothing about, since 2005.

While residing in NC I took out a $200 pdl through TENDOLLARPAYDAYLOAN.COM in 2008. That debt was taken over by Morgan & Associates, LLC. At the start of 2010 I began paying off all balances from my 3 credit reports. I was unsuccessful at locating Morgan & Associates for a while when they finally got to me through my sister. I paid them $363.82 and got a paid in full letter dated Nov 2011. Since then, I've received several calls concerning that very debt. Each time I tell them I paid and have a letter and they apologize.

FIA card service -has committed Fraud! Fia Card services offered me a settlement of the credit card debt after we had been in a payment program I settle the debt in its entirely.An agreement was made an dollar set and After I paid the amount agrred upon . B of A (fia) sent me another bill with the amount paid deducted . When i called to ask what was up we Settled the debt . FIA card Services denied every having any such agreement and denied the settlement. As this was done over the phone I have names and conformation numbers , Its find all a big LIE . Now where do I turn?

I have a judgment against me for a credit card debt that is app 6 years ago. I am newly married and my husband offered the company a set amout every month to pay it off. He sent in the first payment, and the company never responded. The next month he did not send a payment and the company called him so he paid it. We have yet to receive a written response from them. We decreased the amount on the payment and the company called and threatened to garnish my wages if we did not pay more. They have added app 25 percent of the original judgement for interest.
