I had a few payday loans out in 2010 took all the steps this forum suggeseted thought all was good now out of the blue i am being harrased at work it is so embarassing i got a call from a 603-383-5033 when i call it says it is some investigation firm they got my HR number from another employee and i am also getting calls from 888-904-4719 it says they are Global they left a number on my supervisors line saying i am to be served blah blah please anyone have suggestions I am beyond fusterated i have filed complaints with the New Hampshire Banking department all the places i had loans with have a

First I want to say thank you thank you thank you to all of the wonderful experts on this website. If I didn't stumble across this, I would still be paying these loans. I took out 3 loans with White Hills Cash, RedStone, and Payment Direct. I followed all of the advice on this website and closed my bank account and sent out letters. White Hills responded with a written letter stating that they were exempt from state laws but they would consider my account paid in full even though I overpaid $217.

Hello, I am about to go in for debt settlement and would like to get some advice/thoughts on this from the experts and fellow forum members. I have been jobless since March 2010, and still don't have a job..I am actually dependent on someone else for room and board. I kept up with the minimum payments until Sep/Oct 2011, and then had to stop. I had no idea about any debt resolution options until recently because I always believed I would get a job and resolve this. I had money almost equivalent to the debt 2 years ago, so I wasn't worried.

can I get my overpayment refunded to me? I am new to the site and tried figuring it out on my own, but some of the stuff gets confusing, so I wanted to ask on my own. How would I got about doing it? The bank account I used at the time has since been closed, and the loan was paid off in 2-2011. It was through PayDayOne. Thank you for any help.:)

Years ago I got a PDL from Beacon for $200, I closed my account and tried reaching them but they never contacted me. I got calls from ACA Recovery, they are rude and harass me at work and say it is on behalf of beacon. They will not provide me with Beacons information either. I finally because they kept calling at work set up some payments and made 2 $75 payments. Now my hours are at work were greatly reduced so I cant do this. They sent me INTENT TO SUE letter and called today.

My federal student loans just went into default and I just had a message left for me from NCO. Before calling them back, I really need some help with what to say. I'd like to rehab my loan to get it out of default (and not deal with garnishment). My loans are ~55K and I bring home$1100 every two weeks. I do live paycheck to paycheck, but will somehow work out a certain amount to pay the 9 payments (there's absolutely no way I can have some kind of down payment for them...I don't have any money).

Hi.. I have a quick question... I have a second mortgage with RBC bank which is bought out by PNC bank. I've been behind on my payment for more than 2 months now, the phone call from them is relentless.... My house was foreclosed by the first mortgage, which now I have no property any assets under my belt except for a car which probably cost 500 bucks max... I can no longer make a payments with PNC because I have a new born and my wife is no longer working.. Alone with my salaries I cannot afford it anymore...

I have a student loan with sallie mae. Iam having trouble making payments, and sibe my only inco right now is ssi and ssd. The loan was already sent to a collector, the balance right now is the amount of $9,152.22. I can't afford to pay this whole amount. I can only pay either $50.00 or $ 75.00 a month. Can this creditor garnish my ssi money? I am not refusing to pay. I just need time to start paying
