Nope, there is no jail for debtors in US. Please check the sticky in the pdl forum titled "Threatened with Jail? Theft? Bank Fraud?". Unfortunately the creditors and collectors keep saying this to scare debtors even when it is strictly against law.

Please mention the following for the Mods and experts to help you.

- Name of your state
- Amount borrowed
-Amount repaid
- Storefront/internet

I'm sure that if you search this lender in the site you'd learn many information on them. Use the search box at the right hand corner.

I doubt they could take you to jail. Have any questions check out this site deleted...pm I had some questions and they were glad to go over everything.
