After settling 100k of credit card debt between me and the mrs., I am stuck with one account that is charging off at the end of the month, all others settled before CO, except Capital One of course. The CA, ARSI, says they cant do settlements for Amex until CO and can only accept a payment to bring me up to date. They say they usually dont get Amex accounts until CO and dont even know how I got there a month before CO.

I am writing this for my brother. Late 2005, he became disabled and a paraplegic. Since then, he hasn't had a job of any kind. His sole income is his disability. Since that time, he has not paid any creditors nor has he obtained any new credit other than the basics of phone service, cable, and electricity. What he gets from his disability goes to wards basic living expenses and his medical needs.

Any one heard of some place called ridgeview and assoc. I recieved a call from them trying to collect on an old payday loan i had. I am scrambling to find a way to show that this account had been paid. I just wanted to see if anyone had heard anything about them before? I tried looking them and their phone number up, but I can't find anything about them anywhere.

I am currently looking for help with my credit card debt. Its out of control and Im unemployed struggling with these high interest charges, late fees and over the limit fees. One of my creditors is chase and when I asked for a hardship program they told me I was not elgible but I should call CCA 800-270-6133. I am trying to find a reputable company one that will help me lower my payment and get rid of the high interest charges. I dont know who to call or who to trust. I am hoping someone on here can help me by pointing me in the right direction or providing me any helpful tips. Thanks

Hi, I have a loan with QuickClick loans. I got in a bind when an emergency came up and I borrowed $1500 from them. On my account page it says my loan balance is $1292.05. I got a bonus at work and wanted to pay the loan in full but when I called to arrange this they said it would be $1542.67 to pay it off. How is this possible? Why would pay off be different than the loan balance listed on my account page? Can anybody give me any suggestions? I am in the state of Utah and thier website is quickclickloans.com

Can anyone tell me if PDLs are legal or illegal in CT? If legal, how do I get out of this mess? If illegal, same question. I currently have loans with Ameriloan, OneClick, Hydra Fund, Redstone, Payment Solutions (they repeatedly charge the interest only and do not do pay-downs), Sandpoint, and SureAdvance. I really need to stop the madness.

it has been almost 2 yrs ago when I did the pdl loan from a group called CPG. I repaid them plus all the extra over payments that they took from my checking account.

OK, so I get a call from a local number at work today. Says she has papers to serve me, there are charges against me. Won't tell me who they are from. Her name is Jen Taylor, a process server calling from United Firm. left me a phone number to call, 888-682-5572. Said she had papers and needed my work address. I told her you already have it, which she did. She said she'd be there in 45 minutes. Do you think she'll show up? LOL. I tried to call back the local number she called from, and guess what happens. three beeps and it disconnects. I know it's the scumbags from USA Cash Express.
