My brother recived a letter saying that there was a lawsuit filled agenst him by Midland Funding LLC, the problem is that my brother is no longer living with us he went to Mexico to study to be a priest for 7 years, i was left in charged of everything that came under his name, and im not going to pay anything to this company, my brother didnt left any property under his name. Hi, I'm new. And stupid. Made the payday loan mistake, and I'm paying for it big time now. Very depressing. Anyway, I live in Ohio. All of my payday loans are legal. I've already checked into that. I have them through: Payday one: around $650 (after fees)- payments around $150 biweekly Cashenet: around $1300 (after fees)-payments $150 biweekly Check n' Go: Around $1100 (after fees).-payments around $200 biweekly I have already closed my bank account after paying way too many extension fees. I have defaulted on my loans, therefore I have set up payment plans on all of these.

My student loan of approximately 230,000 just went into default. I was unable to pay the 1500.00 per month amount that was required and could not get the monthly amount reduced! I received information over the telephone from a rep stating that I could get a deferment until December, but I found out that it was not approved. I did not receive anything in the mail....but found out when I called back to check. By that time by loan had entered default.

I have sent this company the email from this forum, and the company thinks they have legal grounds to play hardball. Should I reply to this email? I have two loans out on is from Ace Express Loan- 400.00 paid over 500.00 I know it legal in Texas. The one I need to know about is Action Payday Loan-400 I have paid over 600.00. They debit my account every week for 60.00 and now started debit it twice one for the 60.00 and then 25.00 to pay down. I have well over paid the amount I brought. Is this company Legal in Texas?
