Hi All - my husband received a letter - a copy of a submission to the court, from a case that had been dismissed in December. The letter is from an attorney on behalf of a collection Agency. The original creditor was Credit one. The case sat for two years and then was dismissed without prejudice. This letter states it is a "Notice of Submission of Case for Final Adjudication" Anyone know what that means and how to respond?

What does a letter that comes from an attorney, asking for an adjunction on an old case with credit one, mean? It is in the name of midland funding? I am trying to figure out how to respond.

I have been dealing with a collection agency since January 2017 trying to resolve my debt with them. I have been paying them every 2 weeks up until recently when I realized that the dates and the amounts that we had agreed upon are not adding up. According to my Credit Karma report not one amount or date that we agreed to have matched. I now feel that I am being played by the credit agency and want to dispute this. Do I have grounds for this or will it reset my SOL?(I was not aware of the SOL until recently and have paid some old accounts off according to CK)

I received an email reply from mobiloans stating they could not settle my account but the emails address was thinkfinance. I Google think finance it appears they are a debt collections agency. I also discovered that think finance along with 6 entities including mobiloans are filing for chapter 11. I believe the court date is in April . Could this be the reason they don't want to close my account ? I have paid back what I borrow n plus

Can I get any tax break for college expenses?

I had a Credit One Bank credit card opened on March 20, 2013. The last payment on the account was May 13, 2016. The account was charged-off on December 20, 2016. The card had an $800 limit. The acct is listed on my credit report as "LVNV Funding" with a balance of $1403. I contacted LVNV from the number off of my credit report. The told me the account was with Mandarich Law Group. I vaguely remember getting something from Mandarich Law Group but I do not have it now.

Hello, Thank you for your help with my earlier post. Since Spot Loan is illegal and I have paid $495, should I push for paying the reminder of $305 of the remainder of the 800 Loan?
