Has anyone ever used them and are they any good? I have two payday loans, both companies sent my loans to collection agency's even though I tried to work out a payment plan. One loan got sent off to iCollect and they have no contact info to give me?? The other loan was told to email EMAIL REMOVED I've already gotten one nasty message and the guy had a thick indian accent and didn't even leave a call back number and I could barely understand what he was saying.

I am so pleased my Debt settlement company just called and I finally settled with AMEX. Amex sent me to court and they won a judgment and garnisment. The problem is I was never served the summons they served me at an old address in which I haven't lived at for 12 years, I have made a motion to vacate that said judgment. My court date is Oct 27th. In the mean time my DSC has settled this account for 50.3% I am not overly thrilled with the amount but it's paid and I can move on to my last account. I am finally able to breath a little and can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I need advice on payday loans as I've gotten over my head... My next pay date is Friday, Oct. 7th and I have direct deposit. I have a Check 'n Go loan for $2000, payments are $292 every 2 weeks Speedy Cash for $150. $188 is due on the 7th Advance America for $450 due on the 7th. Plain Greens Loan. There are 2 payments of $85 to finalize this payday loan. I live in Texas. Any advice would help.

Been in touch with MD Office of the Commissioner of Financial Regulation regarding East Side Lenders. A settlement agreement is being ironed out between attorneys. The draft terms of the agreement will stop East Side Lenders from operating, collecting or selling any of the Maryland accounts. Also requires that they have any credit report notations removed. They will no longer offer loans in MD. They will receive a penalty and there will be restitution in some form for every Maryland consumer that has taken out a loan from them within the last couple of years.

I am glad that I found this site. I have been drowning in the payday loan cycle that I can't believe i ever got in.

can anyone tell me about IAG creditors? The person I spoke to was very misleading on the phone he stated it was a bank account that was closed. I did some research with the bank that he had said, and the bank knew nothing about it. Come to find out after another call to him it was for a payday loan from 2 yrs ago and they are trying to sue me for 3000.00 and want to persue criminal charges for bank fraud..which I dont understand the original payday company is E Payday Loans from somewhere in ny I did it online and didn't know that in my state of NC it was illegal.

I have a 600 loan through Advance America who is a legal lender in Michigan. I set up payment arrangements but am having trouble with the last payment. They are refusing to follow the letter I sent revoking any and all ACH Transactions. I notified them yesterday 4 days prior to the date they're supposed to debit my account. Are they allowed to do that even though I revoked their rights?

so received letter last friday by collections agency, saying i owe 800 for ticket received 2004 for driving under suspension...I remember going to court and I thought I paid it off...cause i had to pay it and tickets in different county to get licnese back... so they told me if i dont pay i will get bench warrant, called court house in area i received ticket, they said they cannot suspend license but can put bench warrant, find it crazy after 7 years i dont already have bench warrant?? I am unemployed single mom of 2 and full time student cleaning houses to pay bills, what is a girl to do?

I just got a call from URS and they wanted to arrange a payment plan for Capital One. I never received a dunning letter from them and the "very nice" lady almost got me to give her my bank account number over the phone. Can't I request a dunning letter from her before I commit to anything? I'm also going to call Capital One and ask them if they have given my debt to URS. If Capital One still owes this debt, why do I have to deal with URS then?

Ok so I live in Colorado and am being taken to court by Midland Credit. I believe this is beyond the SOL. I had a car that I missed payments on in Apr of 2004 then it was repossessed in May 2005. They took me to court in early May this year. The SOL here in CO reads: § 13-80-103.5.
