unfortunate situation

14 years 5 months ago
I became chronically ill about three years ago and my health declined rapidly. I almost ended up in a coma, and by the time I was finally diagnosed, it was discovered I have a metabolic disease that is progressive, incurable and there is no proven treatment. I have been unable to work for the past 2 1/2 years and have been fighting with Social Security to obtain disability. I currently receive a little under $400 monthly for living expenses from social services (with a work exemption due to my health) and food stamps (the max allowed by my state -NY).

Instant Cash Loans Till Payday

14 years 5 months ago
I recieved a call this morning from a lady at S & S Speical Investiagations out of Atlanta saying I was being investigated for check fraud from an outstanding payday loan from 2005. She said I owe $1500 on a $520 loan. I no longer have the bank account the loan was made under, and that bank has been bought out by another bank. I do not have any documentation on the loan, and she refused to send me any saying they were not interested in talking to me any longer. This is the first I've heard from them.

Bowman, Heintz, Boscia & Vician

I am being sued by Bowman, Heintz, Boscia & Vician for a Dell account. The letter from the court states I have 20 days to submit my reply; no court date. I will send my reply via certified letter to Bowman, Heintz, Boscia & Vician. I am hoping to negotiate. What is the typical percentage most places will accept? Is there any standard of offering to pay 70% and then consider the accout paid in full? At this point I don't feel I have anything to lose by negotiating.

http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/Debt-Problems/My-girlfriend-is-going-to-hire-a-debt-consolidatio.html Another yahoo who doesnt know what he is talking about. Another question....are mods going to get any delete/edit powers in social answers? Quite frankly, that forum is a train wreck. You cannot tell when new answers/questions are asked and it is full off anna/nelly/sally/jeorge saying the same thing on the same thread. No originality.

Looking for a sample refund letter for payday loans

14 years 5 months ago
I have overpaid on several payday loans. I requested a refund and 2 of them told me no refund and I have not heard from the other 2. Is there some kind of sample letter anyone has? Should I request or demand a refund. I have my bank statements of what I’ve overpaid? Not sure what to do. Thanks

HELP!!! In California

14 years 5 months ago
Hello, first time on the site and I am receiving a TON of info. Ok, my problem is that I have 7 Payday loans (2 online-registered in Ca, 5 online-not registered). Now I know I have paid off the principal at least with all the rollovers, except one. The ones licensed in Ca. are small $255 and I can take care of them. The others range from $400 principal to $700 in principal. Now, my checking account is $2000 overdrawn and I am stressed. I can't sleep (it's 2am as I am writing this), I have a wife and 4 children, and feel I letting them down.
