Is Northland a real company and sure I pay this settlement offer

If I send a cease and decist letter to CACH, will they likely file suit against me right away? Should I send them a validation letter first?:confused:

Almost two years ago I made the mistake of taking out payday loans. After having several thousand dollars taken out of my account, I began researching and found this site. Using this site I was able to come to terms with 4 of 7 of the pdl. Of the three left, only one still bothers me, Ameriloan. I have sent DV and Cease/Desist emails to Ameriloan, letters to FTC and my AG. But Ameriloan still calls and leaves no message. In May 2011, I did answer the phone but got no where with the rep. Two weeks later I got a call that I was going to be charged with check fraud.

What's the preferred way to communicate with collection agencies? Is e-mail recommended? There is an electronic trail and it's fast.

Hi, I recently was in a bind and was stupid enough to take out pdl's from the following companies: 500 Fast Cash Plain Greens Cash Yes Ameriloan American Webloan Are these companies illegal in Indiana and what can I do to get them from tapping into my checking account. They are almost draining me dry.

I got deeper and deeper into these payloan debts even to the point of borrowing money from other pdl lenders to cover pdl payments. I barely have nothing left on my paycheck and am unable to pay my other bills. I have a total of 7 payday loans and every week I am paying interest on them as I cannot afford to pay the principal. I am thinking of closing my bank account and would just call each one of them to see if I can make payment arrangements with them. Right now, my weekly paycheck is almost the same total amount the lenders will debit from my direct deposit every week. I have nothing left.

Recently, I was stupid enough to take out a pdl from Cash Yes. Not only can I find their toll-free number on the web, but they are tapping into my checking account majorly and have almost drained my account dry. Are pdl's illegal in Indiana and what I should I do about Cash Yes since I can't find their toll-free number?

If I settled with a collection agency for a smaller amount than the original debt, will my credit start to get better or does it make no difference than me just paying the min payments each month on the outstading loan?:confused:

How do you get a company like Admin Recovery to stop calling you, esp since they have the wrong person. Telling them doesnt seem to be good enough and being a long way from me, I cant visit them persoanlly. Thanks..Rick

I talked to Great Lakes about my grandsons student loan. It had been sold toGC. I talked to them on the phone several times. I have a paper my grandson signed so I could talk to them for him. They say they sent me a paper in May. I did not get it. They want my checking account information so they can take out $77.00 a month for 10 months. I asked if they would send me something in writing since I have only talked to them on the phone. They said they can't and if I don't call them back in 24 hours with the information they will start the paper work to collect from his job.
