well i barrowed money from djr group i guess but never apporved the money or signed nothing and i didn't really know that there was 200 dollers in my account and so i spent it and now i guess it's been a mouth and now they some guy from inda is now calling me that someone is sueing me and i know it's djr group cuz i researched it today so what should i do?:(and the guy said if i don't call they will send people 2 my house and at my work and if i don't call him he will send my paper work 2 court can i really get arrested for this i don't even have a job right now so how can i pay them if i owe

How could ACS report co-signer to the credit bureau when I have not defaulted on my student loans because I have been in school the whole time? How do I clear my co-signer's name from this fraudulent claim on the part of ACS?

I have been trying to clear up some old debt. I had a credit card that went to a CA. I dodged them for a few years. I got a settlement offer from them. I agreed to the offer. It was for less than what I owed. In their offer letter they said if I paid the offer amount they would report the account as settled in full. This was around the first of March 2011. I just got a letter from a different CA trying to collect the remaining balance on the same old account. What should I do to get this cleared up?

Hi, I stumbled upon this forum in my searching for a way to consolidate my payday loans. I've gotten myself into quite a severe mess. Currently I have a total of six payday loans and I believe only one of them is legal in Michigan from what I've read so far on this site and one that possibly may be legal The loans I have are as follows: Check'n'Go - $600 priniciple, $76 interest Plain Green Loans - $800 principle, $23 interest with 3 payments of $129 so far. I am in a financial bind big time... I went from a two income family to single and before I knew it found I had 6 payday loans... Afterwards I ended up being garnished and lost my car.. My checking account is no good and today I received a call from lawyer for payday loan so they say and told me process server was looking for me but if I called number today we could try to resolve out of court.

I'm in PA and have finally broken the payday loan cycle. I was losing $1k per pay every two weeks and closed my account 2 weeks ago. The calls have begun and so far I'm still feeling relieved. I'm gathering statements from my bank back to Nov. 2010 when this all started. Some of these loans I have overpaid by nearly $900. Hopefully the AG's office and Banking office can help a little as I will call them tomorrow morning. Several companies I used more than once for a loan. Some loans were paid in full then renewed so I will add up all loans received versus all payments made.

I have a judgement against me....:sad: Trying to work out a settlement with collection agency. The judgement is from an account that is over 5 years old. Law firm is Glasser & Glasser....I live in Virginia. They are acting as though they represent Capital One, but do they? Or did they just buy the debt? I am basically judgement proof....I have nothing they can take.... But I would like to settle....is making them an offer at 20% worth trying? What are my options? Is there a way I can contact Capital One and see if this debt has been charged off?

Hi. Am wondering if anyone can offer some help. I am trying to help my mom write a debt negociation letter to BOA. She is retired and has incurred some medical bills. Her debt is over $20,000. She can barely make the monthly payments but does make them and has no money left over. Will banks like BOA settle on a reduced total debt amount if she is still making payments? She is considering contacting a company like Freedom Debt but they will advise her to stop making payments and put up with being hounded by creditors.
