I have been getting calls at my work all afternoon from a collection company. 1st I ask who are they trying to collect for, which she said she couldnt give me that information. 2nd if I didn't take the offer right then that they would proceed to file a case against me and have my wages garnished for 25%, and have my dirvers licences suppend. I ask if she could give the company she worked for they mailing address and a phone number that was not 877, she refused. She kept calling this is happening at my job. She said that she would contact my 'references' and have them pay.

I was in desperate need and was dumb enough to take out a payday loan with Great Sky Cash here in Georgia. The principal was $300 and I have already had $360.00 in fees taken out of my checking account. I called the Attorney Generals office and was told that payday loans are illegal here in Georgia, but that Great Sky is trying to go around it by saying they are on a reservation and there laws do not apply. I was told that Georgia does not recognize them as legal. Is there anything that I can do to get their collection agency Alliance Funding off my back?

I have a co-worker who has appeared extremely stressed lately, so finally today I asked her what was wrong. She unloads a detailed report of how Loan Point USA has been taking $180 out of her account every month since December, and the original principal amount of $600 is still outstanding. I was floored, as I had not heard of this before. So, I started some online research and it didn't take long to find this site. We are located in Michigan, and she processed the loan online. Loan Point contacted her several times, and now has offered that she can settle for $300.

I have a question. I just looked at my credit report and I have not even recieved anything from AFNI before saying I have an unpaid account with Alltel before. This is the first time I have seen this pop up on my report. I used to have Alltel a long time ago. What should I do about this?

Hello, I have received several phone calls from someone claiming to work for a company firm called Cameron, Michaels, and Greenberg. The phone number is 800-469-7195. They claim to act a mediator for Tior LLC. Are these guys legitimate? The reason I ask is that I have searched for information about them online but cannot find anything. They say there is an civil affidavit filed in my name but they refuse to give anymore information beyond that. They did however give them my debit card number or my bank account info which I did do. Have you ever heard of this firm?
