This company filed a complaint against my husband on a unpaid debt with a credit card. He responded immediately and set up monthly payments. They stated if he did not pay at least $650 a month they were going to levy our accts. We have been paying this and have paid $3250 already. In between this time we have recieved at least 3 phone calls. Everytime we ask why are they calling they can not tell us why. Yesterday we receivd a letter a THREE DAY NOTICE of Intention to Enter Default. I called them and Iwas told it was basically a contact letter.

Just got a letter from a C.U. Recovery. Wondering if anyone has heard of this place? Apparently trying to collect on a bank account the the bank screwed up, and would NOT fix. In fact, they would NOT even reply to E-Mail requiring them to correct their mistake! I have NO intent on paying for THEIR mistake(s)! This is why I gave up on banks long time ago. They've never been able to manage my money without screwing something up, BAD. And never correcting THEIR mistakes! As always, information appreciated. Thanks.

i took out a payday loan i made an agreement to pay back they took the first payment out and was not suppose to take another payment out for 2 weeks and went ahead and took another payment out which caused me overdraft fees. i have the agreement in writing. what can i do they say they are going to put me in jail

Not sure is my previous thread was posted but I am desperate for some type of advice. This seems like the right place so here I go... I have several internet pdls, have just lost my job and live in Kentucky. I am willing to close my account and pay the principle I owe on the accounts but have grossly overpaid some of the accounts.

I have paper work from Sallie Mae that I have paid off my 16,000 student loans that started in 1991. Just with figures from 2003 over $30,000.00 have been paid on my loans with $8900. 00 being paid on my loan at 1 time in 2003. I have consistenly paid on this loan until 4/2011. Now some company called education management program says that I over $42,000 on my loan. Sallie mae says that the loan is paid, but also made the comment that it was given to an insurance company. It also did not say that the loan is in default . Can you help me.
