Do I have to close my existing checking account to consolidate my payday loans? Do I continue to pay the loans while they are being negotiated?

LVNV Funding appears on my credit report as an open account even though I settled this account back in February 2011. Now that the account has been paid, shouldn't the account status display account closed. If so, who do I contact to update this account on my report?

No One at bank of America will return phone calls. I have been trying to get info on my short sale. Im told someone will return my calls and it never happens. I have gotten into a snowball situation with payday loan companies. I have had to close out 2 banks due to the overwhelming amount of fees. I opened another account with a totally different bank and all of the sudden one of the loans was debited outrageously from my new different bank account. How did they get my new account information? I never gave it to them or authorized them to debit any money from this totally different bank account. Also, they said that I am being sued and my wages will be garnished. Is this true? I had a Capital One account that was charged off over ten years ago. For the past couple years a collection agency has been trying to collect on the account. Nothing shows on my credit report about this account. I realize that I owe this debt, and would like to pay it. My question is, if I pay the collection agecny, will they then be able to list the account on my credit report?
