I have a judgement against me (midland) and they are trying to garnish my wages! Can I possible make arrangements to pay the debt instead? How do I contact Midland Funding?

A couple of months ago, I got a call from a collection agency about a payday loan. They said if I paid $300 the matter would be resolved. I did, and then last month, I get a call from some law office saying I need to pay $500 to resolve the issue. I told them about the collection agency and they said they can't do anything about it. I don't have the money to make a payment and now they are threating to issue an arrest warrant. Shouldn't the $300 I paid be enough? Thanks for anyone who helps.

Hi, I accumulated a handful of ONLINE payday loans (big mistake, I know). Anyways, I have since changed bank accounts, and sent them all a certified letter asking them to revoke ACH transactions. Today, I get this email (see below). I'm just wanting some guidance/advice on how to respond. This is for an online payday lender. I live in Iowa, and online payday lending is not licensed in my state. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Hey everyone, A couple weeks ago I received a phone call from IAG. I asked them to validate the debt. Yesterday, I received a letter from them and am wondering what step I take next as this doesn't seem to be a validation of debt. Here is what the letter says: Quote:

I then closed the checking account that I was using to let them withdrawl from because I was going to pay them off with a loan disbursment check from my credit union. When I called to find out their physical address they said that "they could not give me that information, so everything had to be done electronicaly, and I would need to give them a credit card number or a new bank account number". Let's say you get sued for $9500 and the creditor wins. If they place a bank levy on your account and you only have two dollars then what happens? Do they just keep it on there in hopes that you add more money to it? Since, my wages cant be garnished in Texas and they only have the Bank account levy , then what is the process and how long does it last? Do they freeze it one time and then come back to freeze it again or what happens?>
