I recently lost my card but due to hectic work schedule could not report till now. Do you think my report will be accepted now?

DMP trys to intimidate you by saying they are from the fraud & worthless check dept from the state of Pa. I paid my debt then they call 6 months later tring to get it again... They can kiss my ass... they end their call by saying: Good Luck.. WhatEVER !!! Send the cops... oooooo I'm so scared.. shoul not push people like me that keep all documemntation, record all phone calls, and have filed a complaint against them with the district attys office... I'm going to try and settle, but if not, if I get sued, what can they do to me? Upside down in home Most they can garnish is about $100/mo (10%) (15% is another garnishment) Less than $500 in bank acct. No other assets at all Do CA normally check all that out to see if it's even feasible to sue? What's the worse that can happen in my situation if they get a judgement?

Today I was served a summons from Suttell & Hammer from an original debt from Citi card total amount $10k. Have not made any payment to Citi card for about 6 months as we are trying to get our other credit cards paid off. I am not sure what to do. Does anyone know if they will settle if I call them? Looks like from other posts they play hard ball. In my response do I ask for any info? I am so confused.

I have not paid on a Chase card in over 2 years. It is with a collection agency. I just received a letter from a law firm that wants to defend me against a lawsuit they say was filed against me by the collection agency, but I have not received a letter from the collection agency indicating they plan to sue me nor have I been served any lawsuit papers. Isn't this rather unusual?

Had a Capitol One Card years ago. It got charged off and I haven't heard from them for years. They clam it has been since 2005. I think it was 2002 or 2003. I was paying a collection agency back in 2002-2003. BUT ALL CORRESPONDENCE STOPPED AND I RECIEVED NO STATEMENTS ALL THIS TIME UNTIL NOW. THEY ACCUMULATED INTEREST AND LATE CHARGES TOTALING OVER 8000.00. THE LETTER SAID AT THE TIME OF CHARGE OFF THE BALANCE WAS 2800.00 WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS?
