Ok so I think I spoke too soon. I come home from work today and there is a message from Ms. Flint or whatever she said her name was. She wasn't abiding by my cease communications letter. She said she can contact me if she wanted to also that their office in St. Vincent has some type of treaty with the federal government to give consumer loans am I dumb or is a consumer loan and a payday loan 2 different things?

I defaulted on my student loans, it's a little over $5200. I started working with Allied Interstate after they were calling me like 5 to 8 times a day. I made 1 payment of $60, and 2nd payment of $100 and then they asked for $1000. I told the woman there was no way I could generate funds like that. I am a single mother who does not recieve child support and I'm in the military. She gave me some bull about well we can't keep you on the program unless you pay that amount. I'm sorry but I don't know anybody who can pull that off and be financially sound in my situation.

When the CA is assigned to collect on behalf of the OC, can the CA list it on your credit report?

Palisades purchased our charge-off credit card from Chase. The charge-off debt is listed on my credit report by both Chase and Palisades. I have been paying Palisades on this debt for two years. They keep adding interest to the balance so I feel like I will never be free from them. I talked with them today, and they said that they would stop the interest if I allowed them to draft my bank account. I do not feel comfortable with them having access to my account. I do not have enough money saved or I would just offer them a settlement. What should I do?

Hi, I owe about $6000 (includes principal and fees) on 12 loans. I am current but I am getting to the point that I cannot pay it. I am doing it some how but really need to do something.How does thiis work? How do we stop them from going into my bank account? They are not calling my work now but will this causde them to call me?
