can collectors call me for accounts more than 10 years old, even if these accounts are not on my credit report any more? how do i deal with them ?

I got a call last week from a John McNeil, from a company called NCW. He said he was calling for a payday loan that I took out from Payday-Loan Yes. I only borrowed $350 and now he is saying that I owe $1350 because of interest and fees. I told him to send me a letter because I wasn't comfortable about providing personal information over the phone. He said he wouldn't send anything until I paid it off. He called me at work today, I told him I am not allowed personal calls and I'm not discussing this at my desk.

I had debt from an auto loan in Utah for $1,600. A payment hasn't been made since November of 2007. I also received a 1099c for the year 2010, but they collection agency is still trying to collect on the $1,600, they don't own the account but they are trying to collect for the bank. What should I do pay the $1,600 or wait until its wiped off my credit in a couple years?

2 credit cards I stopped paying on 3 yrs ago due to fees disputes had limits of $300 each. Now LVNV has them and posting on my credit rpt I owed over $960 on one and over $650 on the other. Is this legal? I would like to just pay them off but only what I owed - $300 each. Do I contact the collection agency or the Credit One to settle?

what is the sol in CA this company said they first contacted me in 2005 then changed it to 2006 it was for a cable bill well if the cable bill wasn't paid they would of disconnected me before they would of turned it to collectionsI know this is a bill I do not owe never been disconnected until I moved in sept1st 2008 with no balance I payed the final bill but unfortunatly I can't prove it don't keep my cancelled checks for more than 2 yrs can you help with info ty

Can i be sued by one of these company? i do not remember geta a loan from a quick net cash.

[/SIZE] [SIZE=3]We have tried to contact you by telephone and email numerous times with no success.

I sent the CA a debt validation letter which i used from a template on this forum. They simply sent me back copies of my last years credit card statements. The CA is nelson Watson and associates LLC. I know I asked for alot more than that. How does that prove they have the right to collect Capital Ones debt? If this isn't correct debt validation could they still take me to court, and once their, could I use this as a defense to have the case thrown out....because they didn't validate properly when asked?
