World Financial Network National Bank (for Lane Br

14 years 10 months ago
World Financial Network National Bank (for Lane Bryant) is reporting on my credit reports that I am decceased. I have requested that they change this report beginning in 2007. The problem goes back to 2006 when my mother passed away they added her credit on to my closed account. This is a big problem because the credit reporting companies can not give me a credit score and I can not get approved for any new credit. I am moving to another state in July and I have to fix this. Can you give me some advice I have been trying to fix this sence 2007. Mary

Hey Nelly, My friend used her sons (with his permission) credit card a couple of years ago, he never gave her payment info for her to take care of it. His name is on the card, but he has Allied calling her and they told her that they were prosecuting her for faliure to pay. Can they even do this on a debt that has her name no where on it?

I am in the process of purchasing a home and on the credit report it shows a judgment was issued against me in December of 06. It was issued in the state of Kansas. The problem is I had moved to Florida in June of 06 and never received notification of the court date.

Volunteer Credit

I defaulted on a student loan 27 years ago that is with a debt collection lawyer. The interest on the loan has now made the total amount due five times the principal. I tried several times to negotiate with the collection lawyer to reduce the interest payments and pay towards the principal -but he refused. I have been living and working overseas since 1992 primarily doing volunteer work with children and youth in communities in need.

ballys and asset acceptance

14 years 10 months ago
hello, Ive been in a kind of unique situations for a while. about 4 years ago, i got a joint membership with ballys for the summer while I was home from school. I two friends signed up with me. We cancelled the account by sending the $150 cancellation fee that they required and we thought we were done. A year later, I check my credit report and I find Asset Acceptance wanting $3000 from me. It was on all 3 of my credit reports at the time. I called them, they told me to call Ballys, and I called Ballys. Bally's told me they never received the cancellation fee.

I want to make offer to my credit card companies t

14 years 10 months ago
I want to make offer to my credit card companies to reduce my debt, reduce the interest, and get a forbearance of several months before starting to pay them back. I am planning to stop paying then and writing letters telling them that i will begin paying those who work with me. I just lost my job. Even before that, I reached the point where I owed more a month than i earned. Is this the right approach?
