All - Can anyone tell me how reputable the offices of Ed Overcash is? I had an installment loan through Think Cash - installment loan. How do I find out if installment loans are legal in kY or if this lender is licensed to lend in KY?

Hi, I got a letter and a phone call from P. Scott Lowery, P.C* wanting to collect the full amount I owe to CitiBank. I've done research on P. Scott Lowery, P.C* online and actually came across this website today. I've heard so many complaints and issues dealing with them. I wanted to know how can I go about this? Do I have to pay them or could I contact CitiBank and pay through them? I guess what I'm asking is how can I go about this without getting screwed from these crooks?

I have 8 payday loans and 6 of those were online, i dont remember the companies i got them with. how can i find that information

I dont have money for Attorney, Michael J Scott is pursuing a bought debt from citibank, they have filed suit and i was served by human at my residence, how do I answer the questions? deny them and ask for fact of debtness or request more info on all the debt? I need to reply and show up or it will default. any suggestions?

For the past few days, on two different occasions, two different men came to my door, and they pounded on it for 20 minutes, (they have may kicked it too). The first guy was really thug looking, and through the peep hole, he was holding a clip board. I dont answer the door to strangers for safety reasons, so I did not answer the door, however, he did not even give me a chance to respond and started yelling and screaming my name, pounding on the door, and he did this for 20 minutes. I thought it was the consens guy, (they are not really that professional).

I took out a payday loan six or seven years ago. I have recieved calls lately 3/7/2011. Stating that I need to call them that it is very time sentive to do so, or they can not help me. I live in Alabama, does the limition apply to Alabama, or the state of the loan?

I set up a payment with them for the 28th of feb. The payment had not been charged to my account, I called and asked why they said because billing hasn't received it yet but it should come out tomorrow. This conitnued for the next week. Finally today they say another debit company (I guess the one that originally owned the debt??) Took it back and they can't do anything???? Debt companies are allowed to indian give??? Now what if they contact me and say I owe twice the amount? Is this even legal?

Hello , On 12/24/10 I took out a $300.00 interest loan from BMAC , I don't know what it stands for , however I had never used these services before so I was a little confused about the terms . As it turns out I was being charged $50.00 every 2 weeks in interest , I thought it was going toward the balance , when I realized it wasn't I payed the loan off on 03/04/11, thats after paying $300.00 in interest . also I was given the money in cash . Is that legal ? I live in Chicago IL . Thank you , M.

I got a call today from them and they were not very friendly. I am due any day now and I have been in and out of hospitals. I explained my doctor hasn't let me work thru out this whole pregnancy and they asked " don't your husband take care of you" I said I am not married. My boyfriend a.k.a. the father of my child is overseas with the military and I live at home with my mother. Then the response was "well since he is overseas he should beable to pay for this for you. Can't your mother pay for it?" I said no my mother has stage 4 cancer.

I just got a call today from them. And I explained that for the past 9 months I have been in and out of hospitals and my doctor has had me on medical leave from work so I am not making any money at all. They asked isn't your husband supporting you and I told them no he is overseas with the military and they made comments how he should be sending me money.. I asked them to send me something in writing and they said they couldn't send me any info thru the mail about this debt that I have.
