Hello...I just found out from our county website that a CA did file a lawsuit against my wife for a cr card debt from 3 years ago...we have not seen any paperwork yet...and I think they have the wrong address (but the right county)...if it comes down to it...can I go to court instead of my wife...she really, really does not want to go...and the debt is because of my business.......

We have taken the necessary actions to ensure you will receive no further communications from Resurgent Capitol Services L.P. If you have any further questions, please contact CSR at #" Then next page has 4 sentences for "proof of debt" with staement of who has and since when and amount.

I just received a phone call from a debt collector from an old payday loan I had back in 08'. The collector said she was an investigator and threatened to have me arrested. I told her I wanted to get it taken care of and payed. She wanted to settle with me, but I told her I couldn't pay until next month. She said if I didn't pay them by the 28th, I would then have to go to court. The amount is for 375.00 and I usually don't have that money floating around. I told her I had to get someone to help me pay it then.

My mom has been leasing a car for 3 years, and would like to extend the lease. The car company conatact her statng that want her to relinquish the lease and car in 39 days because of a credit matter from 6 1/2 years ago. LVND is on her credit report and causing her to have to give up her car. HOw after 6 1/2 years is LVND allowed to cause an issue and how do we resolve it?

OK, I think this happen to me too, they have two loans under two different accounts that when into my bank and tried to withdraw all this money. I asked the bank not to pay them, now after a year later they have some of their collections people harraseing me for double the money. I'm willing to payback what went into my account by making payments, but they want a debit number from me so that they can take the money out. What do I do to stop the harrassment

I have a notice from Northland Group Inc. attempting to collect a debt on behalf of Pinnacle Credit Services, LLC. that originated with Citibank. The original account was set up for a business and it was a Staples account. Trying to find out if this debt was or will be reported to Dunn & Bradstreet. How should we handle this account, we are being offered a settlement?

Came home for lunch had a call from these people. The call was for my deceased wife Carol. She died 1/4/2010. Not sure what they are calling about. Wasn'tr sure if I should call them back and open a can of worms. This is distrubing as I am trying to move on, and now this. We had been married for 33 years.

I have 2 payday loans that total together about $1500 that I am now not able to pay due to a large reduction of income. I have closed the account the funds were withdrawn from ... what can they do? I know the account will be placed for collections and I need to know if I can then at that time work out a lower payment once in collections or will they sue ?:D
