Hi Nelly, I was initially enrolled in a debt. management program called Credicure and was without consultation enrolled with Richard Brennan for my debt. management. I was then shuttled over to a company called Golden State Debt Management. My question is this, when I enrolled I paid my first month payment and a deposit of one month's payment ($634) which I was told would be returned to me upon my completion.

They are telling me that if I do not make the down payment, they will garnish my husband's wages (he was a cosigner).

I just recieved a letter in the mail from an Attorney(that I have never heard of) stating that I am facing a lawsuit by Asset Acceptance LLC. I have no idea who this company is, and I have never recieved a call from them. I have no idea what it is about because noone will answer when I try to call and get information. What can I do? The letter says I can try to file bankruptcy but I have no idea how or even if I should. Please help me, I am very confused.

:mad:i was sued by this company stating that i owed someone else money and they were sueing me for it i never owed anyone money i didnt have any money to get a lawyer to defend my self so i lost now they put a garnisment on my checking acct took out over 2000 dollars and have me bounching checks what can i do

Hi, I live in Georgia and am having trouble with Advance Me Today. I've repaid my loan amount plus approximately $110. Right now they're still saying that I owe over $800 with their fees. Before I initiate closing my account and the other outlined steps, are they illegal here?

What is the difference in bankrupcy and debt consolidation? Which one is the best to do?

hi. i know this isnt payday related persay, but i had a thread concerning srs and associates that i had started about a month ago and now it has been removed from debtconsolidationcare.com. i just curious as to why? i didnt delete it, that much i do know... i am actually asking because im curious as to weather or not srs has contacted this board and asked for the thread to be removed.

I want to sign up with a company for debt consolidation. They require a power of attorney to speak on my behalf to my creditors. Is this normal and does this give them power over all of my finances or just this little segment I authorize?

Is there a company out there that will take your income and pay your debts and manage your budget for you?

They continue to call me on my cell phone even though I am unsure what they are calling about. Called them from my home phone, ask what type of company they were ... was told a limited liability company. I ask them exactly what that meant - they told me a company with limited liabilities. Ask to speak to someone who could tell me why they were calling, they hung up. Tried calling back - they still hung up !!!! Is anyone looking into this company or the companies that use them ???
