These are all companies I have dealt with before and had paid off loans in full. I became a gambling addict and took out loans with the same companies all over again (and kept 3 I already had) To make matters worse I have subsequently been laid off from my job and am now collecting disability. My income is $2500 less that it used to be per month. Some of the loans I have were taken out after I had been laid off but I had stated that all their old information was correct which technically it was not true. Some of these are loans I have taken out and have not made any payments on yet.

Received a call from the collection agency identified as PDL Recovery, phone number 855-479-4580. They said I defaulted on a loan from MyPaydayLoan.com and now they want to collect at least $430, saying my balance is over $1000. I paid bimonthly payments to MyPaydayLoan for over a year on a $400 loan. I told them I am now unemployed and asked for a debt validation letter, etc. They say they have no physical address. Is anyone familiar with them? Will they really sue me for MyPaydayLoan? I known MPDL is in Costa Rica, but I wonder if this collector is legit or not?

Need help, when i took the loan out for $500.00 I was told their is one fiance charge of $175.00 then my account would be charged $175.00 till balance paid off... ive made 4 payments of 175.00 a total of 700.00 when i called to see about the 25.00 extra i paid and getting it refunded they said i still had 500.00 to pay!! I asked why Ive paid them 700.00 that covered total cost of my loan 675.00 i should not owe them anymore, they informed me no they charge 175.00 fiance charge every two wks that i was not maken payments on my account just refinancing my loan.

I need to get disputed removed from the credit report. will the creditors just remove when I ask and what is the time frame they have for the this. I live in Cali

I have/had a loan with Plain Green Loans and overpaid them. I sent the letter on this site asking for PIF, refund, and to stop ACH debits/contacting me further to Plain Green Loans. Their response was as follows: We are in receipt of your recent written complaint dated xx/xx/xxxx, and as you requested, your account has been closed from further activity. We will make no further attempts to debit your bank account, nor will we make any further attempts to contact you by phone or email.

My Dad just passed away and my mother was in the dark regarding finances.. I have a few questions if anybody can help..1) Apparently a lot of his credit card debt is in her name also.. She did not receive much life insurance, and really cannot afford to pay off the credit card debt.. I am thinking of just having her not pay the credit card debt.. Will the credit card companies settle with her? THere is no estate as they were co-owners of the house.. Her credit score is not an issue as she does not need credit any longer.. Can they come after her life insurance money?
