Can anyone give me any advice? I have a court ordered payment agreement with the law office of Howard Lee Schiff, and just because I have not made my November payment as of today, November 26,. they have put a warrant out for my arrest. I have tried calling them 4 times today to make the payment and I can't get through and now they are closed for the evening. I am going to make my payment first thing Monday morning, and hopefully if I do that I will not have to go to court in December. There were also 2 payments I missed over the summer, but I can make those up on Wednesday.

Does anybody know anything about this place called the Sam's Club? My wife is getting calls from a so-called collector who said that she has an outstanding amount towards Sam's Club. We have never heard of this company. What is it? The calls are really freaking us out.

Hi, I have received a summons to NY court in regard to a Amex loan of $ 3K, that charged off as bad loan last year and probably was sold a few times. ( since the loan used to be much less then) The summons was hand delivered and put under our door. My question is about the Debt validation letter. Should I send DV at this point to these attorneys or bring it to court when I am to see the court clerk? Thank you Kat.

I have a car loan through TD Bank that I have been paying on since Nov 2005. It matures in April 2012. I have gotten myself into a mess with credit card / payday loan debt and now I am trying to dig myself out of that hole. In the process I have put myself around 3 1/2 months behind on my car loan payment. I spoke to the bank last week and they told me if I am not able to pay at least two months worth of payments, my car will be repossessed. Anyone able to offer a little guidance on the best way to handle this and if there are any ways I can circumvent the process.

I have an illegal loan with Ameriloan. They call my place of work everyday at around 2:45 pm est. I told them three times personally that I cannot receive phone calls at work. My co-workers have told them the same on numerous occasions as well. I have sent them a letter stating I know their loan is illegal here in Pennsylvania and I revoked all wage assignments and said I will not take any phone calls from them nor will my references. I specifically stated I will only correspond via email or regular USPS.

I spoke with a gentleman from the above mentioned "firm" the other night. Apparently he skipped calling me directly and went straight to my parents and my uncle to get me to call this guy back. I called him back and he said that he had an account from a PDL that was initially $300 and has now grown to over $1,000 with interest & fees from 2006.
