HI I had 3 payday loan s in 2007 & 2008. I made a few payments on all of them and then could not continue. I tried to make payment arrangements but they all refused. I have not paid on these loans since 2007 & 2008 and now all of a sudden, I have been sent emails by all 3 of them stating how things are past due, that one of them sold my account, and asking for payments. Should I respond via email? I know the statute of limitations is running out on the 2007 loan, but not until Thanksgiving. Is there a reason why all of a sudden all 3 companies would email me at the same time?

Hi, everyone! I have fallen into the PDL world and am trying to my hardest to get out ASAP! I am located in Tennessee and have the following Internet PDL's out. Can anyone tell me if these are legal or illegal companies? If I shall pay just what I borrowed or if they have the right to charge all the additional fees? All of these are current as of date and are not behind on payments. However, I have recently been diagnosed with heart disease and am taking proper procedures to overcome that situation with very little stress so I am wanting these over with ASAP! :) THANK YOU!

I found out I was being sued by asset acceptance because I received a brochure in the mail from a debt defence attorney saying that I'm being sued and call, we can help, etc. I looked on my state's website they listed and sure enough, there was a lawsuit filed against me by AA, in the wrong county at that. It says that they tried to serve me a few days ago, but didn't because they noted that it was wrong county and it says: Summons Returned Non-Est. So I guess they are probably going to refile in correct county, but what do I do then?

Anybody recognize this number? They are harrassing one of our employees at work for a pay day loan that does not exist - if they can't reach her they try to reach others at work to tell them. They are calling from overseas, but this is the number that appears on caller id. The do not answer when you call. They break every FDCPA law imaginable, but since they are overseas it seems there's nothing this employee can do. I thought that maybe someone where would recognize the number and be able to give us some useful information on this scam and how to end it.

I live in Texas, is there any way to find out what processor Check 'N Go uses before they send an ACH to my bank. They have my checks and have already deposited them into my account and they have been returned NSF from the bank. I read my contract and Authorized ACH. I guess the next step for them is to send it in as a ACH. How do I stop them before the damage is done? I have sent them a certified letter Revoking Authorization,to the manager at the storefront, and ask them that any communication be strictly by email or US postal.

I am getting ready to send my first letter out to one of my creditors. I followed the template shazzers had previously posted. Can someone please read and critique to make sure I am hitting all points I need to before sending. Also, should I email first and if they don't respond then mail through USPS? Or always do both, or just one? Does anyone know of an address, or even email or fax number, for Capltal City? They're a payday lender that advertises in the Washington DC area - I've only ever dealt with them over the phone.
