WFNNB's Customer Service Department has some very strange rules; i.e. Fee of $10 for same day payment. Not agreeable to making lower interest rates which will make my payments lower. I have been a long term customer, ordering frequently and have never been late with a payment until September of 2010.

I took out a 350.00 loan from these people back in January, I paid 3 105.00 fees and than paid 200.00 additional on the loan after I stopped payment for 130.00 payment which would have been my next payment so I have paid back 515.00 and now they are trying to collect orginally 600.00 but today are saying they will settle for 310.00. I dont feel I owe them any more money. I told this guy not to call me at work yet he continues to do so, I'm unsure what to do about this.

WOO HOO!!! I got an email from ezpaydaycash that says my acct. is paid in full!!!!! YEAH BABY 3 more to go!! It's weird no one has contacted me out of the 4 they don't respond period then I get a refrund from ezpaydaycash then I emailed them again requesting a pif then I got it - so I'll take it

I have been dealing with Hanna & Associates for a few months now. I did write in asking about them and got some good responses. I sent them a debt validation letter to which they replied with a letter that was incredibly less than the validation I asked for, but my lawyer said it was legit and would stand in a court of law. I have absolutely no money. I just started going back to school and am almost living off of school loans. I am a substitute teacher and I am lucky if I bring in 800 dollars a month.

I have closed my account and sent C&D emails. Should I attempt to ask my bank to credit the debits from the illegal PDL's for the last 60 days? I have several that given what I've read here won't give a refund (Ameriloan and Cash Jar). I'm not expecting it, but I wasn't sure if it's a wise thing to do. BTW, I'm in MD and PDL's are definitely illegal. Thanks

Can anybody tell me when should a person file bankruptcy?

I live in Santa Barbara County in California. From what I can tell, a creditor or collection agency has to sue you in the county you live in, correct? Well, how do I go about searching court cases to see if I am actually being sued? I can't seem to find anything and maybe it is right in front of me and I am not seeing it. Thank you for your time!

The information on this site in priceless. I have 5 PDL's and I live in MD, which, as I have found out on this site, has prohibited PDL's for a long time now. Amazing how these idiots still latch on. As I sat down and figured out how much I've overpaid, it makes me sick to my stomach. After reading the advice on this site I closed my checking account and reopened another. Will see what happens tomorrow since it's payday. I just finished sending my C&D letters, so I guess we'll see what happens. I just can't believe I put my family in this situation, but I've learned from it.
