how do can i get a appercation to get a credit card from you

I received a call at work from a Daniel Ballard, who said he was from Frances, Edwards and Associates and that a collection had been referred to them and that he was getting ready to contact my employer. He said that I did not seem like the type of person who would have this kind of debt or want my employer notified so did I just want to take care of it myself. All I had to do was give him my bank info and they would take payments out and I would not have to worry about involving by employer. I told him I needed to research the debt and that I would not give him my bank information.

I got a call from someone saying that their name was Daniel Ballard from Frances, Edwards and Associates and that a collection in my name had been forwarded to them and that he was going to contact my employer. But since I didn't seem like the type to have this kind of debt and that I probably just want to take care of it myself and that if I give him my bank info then he would not have to contact my employer and cause embarrasment.

Please post the name of credit card companies taking you to court to seek a judgement against you.

Capital One summons me to appear in court so they may receive a judgement. This is a business card for the house flipping business I use to have. I researched the arbitration method and found a dead end primarily due to the fact it is a business account and does not have all the consumer protection laws applying to it. The day I am scheduled to appear in court I negotiated a 62% settlement agreement to be paid in two 30 day payments with a 100 dollars paid immediatly in good faith. They said they will ask for a continuance on the case and dismiss the case when the debt is paid as agreed.

OK...I sent the letter on your link to United Cash Loans and Ameriloan. As per the email, they have not contacted me or my references, HOWEVER, some law office in South Carolina has been on the phone to all of us this mornning. When I called the number they left with one of my references and asked the name and mailing address of their office, they refused to give it to me. Ok....the letter I sent didn't say anything about legal offices. NOW......How the heck do I deal with these guys??

I have just received an "Upgrade" to my credit card which I have had since 1978. That's correct. 1978. Last year they reduced my credit line by 50%. I pay every bill, on time and in full, and have no debt on the card other than the annual fee of $15, for which I have not yet received a new bill (But am told I have that debt outstanding even though the bill has not been sent).
