I've posted earlier and was told by someone here (maybe several someones) that payday loans of america is not a licensed lender in the state of Illinois. I sent them a letter earlier today (using a modified template I got here) mentioning them not being legal in my state, how to contact me for any remaining principal balance, blah, blah, blah.... Just a few minutes ago, I got an e-mail reply from someone at PDL of America and he sounded almost offended that I would "claim" they are illegal. Was the information I was given incorrect? I'm hoping that maybe yes...

if i get out of chapter 13 early will it still be on my credit or will it no longer appear that i once filed chapter 13

Hello there, I had 3 payday loans in Texas and the fees were getting too much for me. So I closed my bank account and opened a new one. The PDL companies I owe are: Star Cash: Original loan amount - $350 and I have paid them $210.00 Alpine: Original loan amount - $300 and I have paid them $540.00 Manhattan: Original loan amount - $300 and I have paid them $270.00 Any help with what to do would be greatly appreciated! Well, I must correct you, because I just got off the phone with a Fred Lowden from the DE Banking Commissioners office, and he says he DOES have East Side Lenders as being licensed. They also have a public contact person as being a Kristy Finazzo at 302-351-5274. If anyone has complaints about East Side, Mr Lowden says go ahead and file a complaint and they will see what they can do, but again, the correction is that they are licensed. Not only that....

Yesterday I received two seperate messages from a company I think is called Penncro Associates about an attempt to collect outstanding debt. The phone number they gave to call back was 1-877-561-0720 with a specific extension number. Do I return the phone call back or leave it be and let them keep calling back if they choose to? I have not received any written notices from any of my credit card companies or anyone else I have an account with about any money owed so I am not sure why this company is contacting me in the first place.

I have a payday internet loan for 390 dollars and now they are telling me i owe them 1800 dollars. I told them i wasnt going to pay that much. What are the laws in sc for internet loans? The company is emerald marketing(emg). Please let me know how to move forward on this.

I am so glad that I am not the only one who is getting calls from this IRS Service they have just started calling me I haven't answered. They usually leave a message telling me to call IRs Service I figured I had better do some research. I am glad I did they are full of it.
