I received a call from Allied today in regards to a debt, that I do not recognize or remember. The debt, they said was from 1999, for $419.77, to a major telephone co. If in fact , this debt is valid, I would have had it charged off in my 1999 chapter 7 bankruptcy. During the phone conversation, I asked for the callers name & company, also informed him of my 1999 bankruptcy, in which he said it didn't matter. Needless to say he ruffled my feathers. I asked him not to ever call me again. How would you expect this to turn out ?

I'm interested in finding out about any experiences (good / bad) regarding the use of Wis. Stat. Chapter 128 for debt consolidation. As I understand, it stops all interest accumulation on unsecured debts but isn't available for secured debts, so long as the plan payments are made.

i got a letter from the new hampshire banking departmnet i do not quite get it and i am not sure how to post it on here it was a complaint i made on Loan Shop on line could some one help me with posting it so that others can read it and maybe explain what it means

What would the date of first default be? Is it the first time you may have been late on a payment, or after activity has stopped on an account for 90 days?

I've been researching some PDL compnaies on-line to see if they are illegal in illinois, but I read on a legal forum that if I signed the contract I am bound by the laws of the company in which the PDL is located?? Anyone ever deal with this before? Any help is greatly appreciated. I need to get relief from this.

i got few more of this like this one of those letters i get i cannot understand how they can get into confidential buisness and get my name and phone number i am not in the phone book directory i am unpublished and i got this call and this letter demanding me to pay them $703.61 and they would settle for $316.62 payment to be set up by aug 27th which is today.

As mentioned before I have had the following PDL's Great Sky Finance Original Amount $300 paid thus far $780 TheCashSpot.com Original Amount $700 paid thus far $1,155 SureAdvance Original Amount $400 paid thus far $636 Sandpoint Capital Original Amount $300 paid thus far $180 The only people to email me back thus far is Great Sky Finance in which they said my account was paid in full and no refund would be given. I did recieve an email from Cashspot.com telling me that I missed my payment so I re-sent the same email I sent before.

I'm trying to get a settled in full letter from Midland and they won't give one to me and they will not let me speak to a operations manager. What should I do

I co-signed a car for a friend back in 2001. The car was repossessed in 2002 and had a judgment against me in 2004. The account was reported in my credit report for 7 yrs and was removed back last. Now the creditor has renew the debt as a charge off and didn???t put the date the account was first reported late. Can they do that?
