Where do I find out if it's illegal to close checking accout in CA? I have many lenders, especially internet lenders who are eating up my account. How does one get in this mess? Argh!

I recieved some papers by mail and it says "NOTICE OF INVOLUNTARY LIEN" im not sure what this is , i am also being sued by this guy MARK D WALSH , from capital one .Can any one tell me what this is .

I received thios response after sending an email to Everest Cash Advance which advised that all communication was to be via mail and email and to stop contacting me at work etc.. I created the letter from the template I found on this site- which has been so helpful by the way: Hello. Hello, I got 2 payday loans almost a year ago in the state of Texas with advance america and payday1. And got all caught up trying to pay them back with refinanceing every week and then eventually fell behind. Close my bank account and opened another. Now I owe the bank money (Compass Bank). Now I got attorney's calling me for repayment which worries me. WHat should I do? I'm still struggling check to check and can't make promises to pay them. Any suggestions?

can you give any suggestion in regards to; if a person is elderly, has dementia and other medicial conditions, is there some assistants that they can get to help and/or eliminate their credit debt.

Help I have gotten some nasty threats from these guys. They (Charles Bush) are threatening me saying they will have me arrested for writing a bad check. I had a payday loan and could not repay it right away so it was put in collections and this guy is now threatening me what can I do? I am a sickly person and don't want to go to jail. He called and asked for a credit card number and now refuses to send me an e-mail confirming our repayment deal so now I don't know what to do anymore. Someone please help if you can I live in NH.

I have warned of a possible lawsuit against me. They said they are no longer obligated to provide proof of my loan as my account has been "sold" and they have attempted to reach me in the past. I don't have any proof of this alleged loan but I am being forced to either pay now or accept a lawsuit. I DID take out a loan with them three years ago...I could've sworn I paid it back. BUT, I don't want to admit to anything unless they provide PROOF.
