Are there any compainies out there that are legit and will consolidate your pay day loans? Also will they prevent the companies from taking out weekly the bi-weekly interest fees?

HI, I have been browsing the forums, and I am glad that there is help out there! I Live in Texas, and I have 5 loans out right now. I have done some research, but with Texas is was hard for me to tell which companies are legit and illegal. Here are the companies: Paydayone $900 CashnetUSA $600 I found this one on the CSO website..said "bond cancelled" in status..not sure what that means. United Cash loans $350 Ameriloan $400 paychecktoday (myfastpaycheck) $400 What are the steps to handle these loans? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay guys, here's the deal, pulled up a cr this evening my buddy, after reviewing what all was on there, a negative account for him sparked our interest. Sears/citibank account from 2006, Opened April 2006, showing collection equifax with a bal of 850.00, Transunion-not even reporting it!, Experian with a bal of 1462.00, says its in collection, and charge off....Experian says balance date 8/2010.

I hear that jewelry stores are good resources for rebuilding credit. Any good resources or tips? I have a couple of disputed collections, current student and car loan (albeit higher balances) and two new credit cards a couple months old

I also am interested in trying to get a boost to help cover a security deposit for an apartment. I'm confident in my ability to repay, but not so confident with my credit situation. I am curious about something, I have a car that I was buying and I had to do a voluntary repo on it. I tired to work out something with the company to get the payments lowered to something I could afford as I lost my job about 3 months later. The original creditor started calling and harrassing me, asking me all kinds of questions that had nothing to do with the loan etc. I have not made any payments since June 06, I think and I have gotten letters from 4 or 5 different collection agencies now saying I owe this debt. My credit report shows it as a write off, (not sure what that is).

I have used this forum to help me removed a previous default judgment and had much success. However I have another Default judgment on my credit report that I have not had the same luck. This was rendered in a state about 4 months after I moved and I have no idea who the creditor is. I have tried to contact the court three times since I found it, as well as asking the creditor for a debt verification letter three time and have not have any response. What else can I do? I am out of work with not much money and I know for a fact that I lost one job because of this.

I didnt inform my payday loans i just closed my account. What now?

I'm close to settling with a couple credit cards. Discover in particular says that they will only send me a settlement letter after payment has been made. Is this normal? I'm also getting close to the cut off date to settle with Advanta. Because the deadline is approaching, they said I may not get the letter in time before the deadline and that I should make payment now or else the offer could be voided. What do you guys suggest?
