My question involves judgment recovery in the State of Texas. I received a Writ of Garnishment via certified mail yesterday from an old payday loan (LVNV Funding LLC) that I refused to pay off about two years ago after they completely screwed up my life by not sticking to an agreed-upon payment plan. It is for about $2500 and they are mentioning my mortgage company as a Garnishee. Since my mortgage company was mentioned, can they take my house over $2500 owed? It says "You are hereby notified that certain properties alleged to be owned by you have been garnished.

HELP! Okay, here is the entire shitty mess of a rodeo I have: My credit score is a: 568, which is actually better than I had anticipated! I have charge-offs! Lots of charge-offs! Now here is my question these charge-offs are from two years ago to almost five years ago! Some of them are payday loans sent to collections, and some others old credit cards, etc! Also, I had a payday loan with Spotloan over the summer! I am waiting for that loan to roll into collections as well! Do I let these roll, and slide under the SOL! I am in Pennsylvania the SOL is four years.

Has anyone heard of a Paul Walker? I received 2 very nasty voice messages from this man over the weekend on my work phone. He has a very heavy accent. He is wanting information on my attorney and said that I need to call him ASAP or all he can do is wish me luch. I believe this has something to do with Target Cash Now. I'm just wondering what the hell is going on!! I came in this morning to 794 spam to clean up - and question, Jason as far as that any way to delete more than 20 at a time if have to do again!! Also, had to clean up 26 posting that got through to unanswered threads - usually because someone let them through - most of them were Chinese. I got to answer one real thread.. I guess getting to earn 1641 DTCC points since Sept 6th isn't ridiculously low...Hopefully soon their will be more people on here to help!

I took a payday loan with Loanshoponline.com in June. I took out $400 and to date have paid back $860. They say I still owe but haven't deducted from my checking account this month. I checked with my local BBB and they are not approved with the BBB and have a F rating! I called the Delaware Banking Commission as they list their address as DE but they have no record of them.Is their a limit to how much a payday loan can take in fees? Is there a way to find out if this co has went under? I am in Ohio.

It has been a while since I have been here. I got laid off back in 2009 and had some health issues. We moved form Florida back to the Jersey Shore and right into the path of Super Storm Sandy.
