can you do a debt consolidation if you already have a summons filed on you?

Hell, i have read a lot a threads, and find the information to be very helpful. I myself have several PDL's and as i live in Florida, I understand that the loans i have may be illegal. I guess my question is would it be less time consuming to go with a pdl consolidation company, as i really don't have time to do all the research required to obtain all the information need to handle this on my own.

I am being called by collections agencies looking for my son who bears my husband name. He does not live with me and I have nothing to do with his debts. I live in NY. How can i stop their calls? Is there anything I can do? Can I tape their calls?

Confused here on ACH template letter. I have loans out from store-front PDL doing business as CSO. Loan doc says lender is xxx. Do I send the letter to the PDL like Rent a center or to the lender? Quick.... please help. Also on template, acct number is my bank acct number, correct?

Ok I have currently 4 payday loans right now. One is with Instantcash/Fast Pay/Apex1 Proc. inc, I borrowed $300 and have paid $180 so far just in roll over fees. Pack Managem Group/B&L Serv I borrowed $250.00 with $75 fee. I hve paid $600 in fees-and still owe same on loan. Paycheck today I borrowed $200 and have paid total of $840 and now only owe $100 on the loan. I believe this is in Nevada. Alpine Direct borrowed $200 and only paid $60 on it.

I have seven credit cards with a total debt of 52,000. They are settling for 34,000. I am getting ready to sell some property but I won't have enough to settle every card. Can I just spend the profit from the sale on medical expenses for my son with Autism? And then, file bankruptcy? We are in the second phase of debt collection- 10 months into it. Debt Collection Agencies haven't started to sue us yet.

I have never been served....just got a text that my bank is holding funds....found out after all said and done that it was this company trying to collect on a debt that goes back to 2003...SOL in NJ is 3 years! I dont know what to do or turn to next.....i have checked back to all bank statements to be sure there wasnt any activity to this firm original debtor and there wasnt.....What do i do next?????
