Yesterday I made a verbal agreement over the phone with a representative (who had me verify the agreement with a colleague) to allow FIA Card Services to take money out of my checkings account with Bank of America for a debt I owe. I explained that I'm out of work without any source of income right now and probably would not have the money in the bank by July 30, 2010 to be withdrawn. The representative said that I could call back if I don't get the money by the above date and they will make other arrangements but I should agree to this to stop the phone calls.

Hi Nellie, I have derogatory information showing up on my credit report. It shows I have two unpaid balances of $880. I am being honest in saying I have no idea what this is. My bank won't stop ACH's or make the account deposit only. I get paid on Friday 7/23 so I can't close my account until afterward because if I do so my pay will get returned to my employer and they said my employer said it might take up to a week to get my money back to me.

I owe Kohls 2250 I stopped paying about 6 months now, they sent me a letter offering me to pay 1213.52, I didnt have the money, so I didnt agree. Now they have snet me to a collection agency, and they want 1590 I dont have a lump sum. When it hits a collection agency do they start the negotiations over, do you think they will go lower after awhile? Chase owns the debt for Kohls.

I am new here but need some help in what my rights are with a file against my debt. I just received a summons today from an Attorney representing Midland funding LLC an Assignee of Chase Bank USA. I am assuming that Midland bought the debt from Chase. I did speak with the attorney over a month ago and said I could do a payment plan of a small amount. They said it was not something that the plaintiff would negotiate. I do not have the $4,053.77 that I owe nor the court costs of $257.00 They are stating that the suit is being filed for refusal to pay.
