I"m 2 months late on my Universal card and I currently owe $4600. I logged on to the website to see if they offer any payment arrangements. I noticed that they offered for me to pay $76/month for 60 months at 0% interest. I chatted with the websites online chat person and she said that it would show on my credit report as "account closed and payment arrangement" On the website it also states that they will suspend all late fees and over credit line fees. It seems like a pretty good deal. Kinda like buying something and spreading the payments over 60 months at no interest.

I wasn't able to make payments for a few months due to financial hardship, but have since re-entered into a new DMP (I wasn't all too happy with my prior DMP). I received a copy of the proposal letter from Capital One via the DMP company that my account was in collections or charged off, but that the creditor has agreed to accept payments sent on my behalf.

Hello, A local payday lender has been coming to my house looking for my sister, presumably because she owes them money. We have already told them that she does not live here any longer, & that we are not in touch with her because of serious family issues. They have also been calling my mother's cell phone, probably because my sister listed that phone number as her own. My mother has told them the same thing.

I had a monthly payment set up through my bank to capital one on a 30K balance. All balance transfers. My payment was $405 but my minimum payment was only 390. I thought i was good for the time being. However, instead of my monthly minimum going down - it went up to over $405, to about $415. I was unaware of this and after two months of what they cited as "failure to make minimum payments," they gave me two options 1) close the card at 17.7% or default to the penalty rate of 29.9%. This occurred in early 2009. After several months of paying $500 interest and $330 principal i was tapped out.

I had a payday loan with one click cash and payday yes two years ago. I ended up off work for a while due to illness and had to file bankruptcy. I filed chapter 7. I live in Tennessee. After I filed I called both places and told them I had filed and gave them my case information and everything. Now two years later I am getting calls from both places as well as supposed law offices saying they are going to file criminal charges if I don't pay these debts. I know they can't do anything to me but I am fed up with the phone calls.
